We provide comprehensive advice on home skin care regimens in order to maintain a youthful appearance.
Superficial glycolic chemical peels - Careful exfoliation of the skin using agents such as glycolic acid can improve skin texture and even pigmentation.
Microdermabrasion - We use a crystal-less new generation of microdermabrasion called the Diamond Tome© by NewApeel. Microdermabrasion is used to exfoliate the skin with little down time.
Botox - This natural purified protein is injected in small amounts in order to relax facial muscles that contribute to wrinkles of the frown lines, forehead and crow's feet.
Laser hair removal - Dark hair responds well to laser hair removal. Multiple treatments can provide hair reduction. We use a laser modality (long pulsed 1064 nm Nd:YAG) which is safer to use on tan and darker skin types.
Laser treatment of vascular lesions and vessels - Unsightly blood vessels or lesions can be removed with minimal risk of scarring using laser technology.
Sclerotherapy for spider and varicose veins - Certain FDA approved agents can be used to remove spider and varicose veins by injection.
Fillers featuring Juvederm/Restylane products - This hyaluronic acid gel is injected to bring back volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds.
Non-ablative and Erbium resurfacing-Non-ablative laser resurfacing does not destroy the overlying layers of the skin, but instead, gently heats the underlying dermis which stimulates collagen production. Over time, these treatments can help reverse photodamage, acne scarring, and mild to moderate wrinkling. Erbium resurfacing is used to remove the outer surfaces of the skin in order to smooth the overall contour. We use a Micropeel© system by Sciton in order to carefully treat very precise depths of the overlying skin.
