Mark G. Cleveland, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Cleveland received both of his doctorates from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1990. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, he pursued a residency in Dermatology at Washington University/Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. After working on staff at Washington University for two years, he then relocated to Burlington, IA in 1996 in order to establish his Dermatology practice. Dr. Cleveland is on staff at both Great River Medical Center and Fort Madison Community Hospital and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He currently holds an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Iowa. He also is an active member of the Iowa Dermatologic Society and the American Academy of Dermatology among other professional organizations.
Sarah Storm Gross, M.D.
Dr. Gross received her doctorate of medicine from the University of Iowa Carver School of Medicine in 2012. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, she completed a residency in Dermatology at the University of Minnesota in 2016. She later entered private practice with a multispecialty group serving the metropolitan Minneapolis/St. Paul area. In 2018, she relocated back to her home state of Iowa with her family to practice dermatology in a smaller community. She is a member of the prestigious alpha omega alpha medical honor society and several other professional organizations including the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Amy J. John, P.A.C.
Ms. John is a native of Gladstone, Illinois. She completed her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines in 2008. She worked several years in family practice prior to joining Cleveland Dermatology in August of 2011. She is certified by the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants and is an active member of the Iowa Physician Assistant Society.
Carol A. Menke, P.A.C.
Ms. Menke completed her Physician Assistant training program at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines in 1997. She then finished her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She worked for five years in family practice prior to joining Cleveland Dermatology in 2002. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Iowa Physician Assistant Society.
